Chorley Park, Unswitchback

I know that just to the south
there is a switchback. I have photographed the steps
on several occasions, and personally at a loss
as to why these can't be improved, instead
of the planned whole mega mess up the rise thing.
That written, here's a lovely photo of the 'desire switchback',
the route we normal mortals enjoy.
A lovely ascend.

The self-effacing Hosta, shy and aggressive,
always just beyond its best, stands in honour
of Nicholas Thomas Host - aspiring shots of lavender
                    shot from Asia, spread certain
                    beyond their allotment.

                                  Belly down upon the grass
                                  the blades become the trees
and in my espy a day time moon
the white flower of a clover.

Tree Trunk #18, Medusa

This Medusa, a good one from the East,
with exuberant branches not snake heads,
                to unfrighten, to conquer earth,
                     to grow,
                                 and rejoice,
                                                  in full Vivace.
